We are a group of buddies from Ottawa, Canada who want to voice our hockey opinions to the world.  You will find that each of the writers has very different views on hockey.

Niko de Jonge (Site Owner – Senators Fan)

Living in Ottawa I’m a huge Sens fan, even among all of these Leaf fans that go to school at U of O.  A lot of my posts are Senators related and you will notice that I usually have pretty high hopes for the team, as any fan should.  I’m also a Sharks fan this year.  This is only because of Martin Havlat (last year I was a Wild fan).  I’ve followed Havlat’s career from his time as a Senator and have to admit it is nice to have a Stanley Cup contender to cheer for this season.  I’m also a big stats guy, so you will see a lot of statistical pieces by me here at Hockey Opinions.  Most of the pieces will likely display how great the Sens and Havlat are .
